Getting Started

Title.png

Medusa is a high-performance Godot plugin for building dynamic UI graphs, skill trees, and node-based webs.

Unlike standard static UI solutions, Medusa features a built-in data-oriented physics engine, progression tracking, and optimized rendering. The addon provides developers with a set of custom Control nodes (Graph, Atom, GraphBranch, etc.) and advanced drawing tools to create complex, interactive, and physics-driven webs with ease.

Installation

The plugin is available in the Asset Library, from where you can install it directly into your project.

To do this, navigate to the “AssetLib” tab at the top of the Godot Editor window and search for Medusa, or use the official Godot Asset Library website.

- GitHub

The project's open-source code, as well as all of its available releases, is hosted on the GitHub platform.

Let's install Medusa manually:

  • Download the ZIP file of the desired version of the addon from the “Releases” section.
  • Unzip the archive containing the plugin folder.
  • Move the extracted folder to the addons directory of your project.

Now let's check if the installation was successful:
